Raipur, September 02, 2024: CM House of Chhattisgarh was today beautifully decorated like a bride to celebrate the traditional Teeja-Pora festival.

Teeja was made more festive as Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has released the 7th installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana of Rs one thousand rupees to over 70 lakh women of the state.

Under the banner of “Vishnu Bhaiya sang Teeja-Pora” women were invited to celebrate teeja at the CM House today.

Chief Minister Sai and his wife Kaushalya Devi were actively participating in the festival with the invited women at the CM House.

On this occasion Chief Minister and Women and Child Welfare Minister Lakshmi Rajwade flagged off the Suposhan (Nutrition) rath.

At CM House women danced in the tune of traditional live songs by famous artists.

They were also given gift by the Chief Minister couple.
