Raipur, August 4, 2009: Succumbing to the pressure from a section of the party leaders, the BJP government in Chhattisgarh today decided to recruit over 850 students of the infamous three years medicine course in the state.
The 859 students of the Practitioner in Modern and Holistic Medicine course would be recruited as Rural Medical Assistant, the state Government said today.
The initial recruitment would be for two years and during the contract period they would be paid Rs 8000 per month.
The state also had sought approval from the Centre of another 300 posts of Rural Medical Assistant under the Rural Health Mission.
It had also been decided to recruit Rural Medical Assistant in all the 143 Community Health Centre of the State, Government sources said.
