Jagdalpur, April 23, 2010: Three naxals wanted in several cases were today surrendered before the District Superintendent of Police Bijapur.
LOS Commander Yalam Ramesh alias Dillip (Age 23) his wife Yalam Somli (Age 22) and Sannu alias Mangu (age 18) surrendered today, said IG Bastar T J Long Kumer.
Police had announced a reward of Rs 50,000 on the head of Yalam alias Dillip, he said.
Among the surrendered Maoists at least 20 warrants were pending against the LOS Commander Yalam alias Dillip under Madded Police Station and criminal cases of 5 each in Bhopalpatnam and Bijapur and three in Madded police station, police said.
A team from Police department was interrogating the three about their network and other things, police added.
