Bhopal, May 29, 2010: Chhattisgarh Governor Shekhar Dutt today stressed for participation of the people in government schemes to achieve total success.
Addressing a workshop on Good Governance, Dutt, also a former Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS, called thin governance and more participation of the people to successfully implement any of the welfare schemes.
The Governor also called for separating development from politics.
Development has to be separated from politics. Every citizen wanted honesty and transparency in the system and every government should incorporate that in their policy, Dutt said.
That could be called a best governance and system in which the weakest person of the society is in the focus, he said adding the interest of the poor and needy must be on the top of the priority in the decision and on programmes of the Government.
