Jashpurnagar, July 23, 2010: Chhattisgarh Administration has decided not to sanction leave during the state assembly session, which was starting from July 26.
Between July 26 and August 3, no leave would be sanctioned to the state government employees, Jashpur District Collector Surendra Kumar Jaiswal said.
During the session employees are required to gather information for the questions or for call attention motion. Even some times, due to shortage of time, the employees had to rush to Raipur to submit reply or the required information on time for the smooth conduct of the state assembly.
Because of that, all leaves had been cancelled with immediate effect for that period, the District Collector said.
In case of emergency, the officers can obtain leave or leave their headquarters with prior permission of the District Collector, an official order said.
