Raipur, September 22, 2008: The all India entrance examination for admission in to the Sainik School would be held on January 4, next.
For admission in to the academic session 2009-2010, advertisement would be published in various newspapers next month, but the last date of receiving application is December 10, 2008, official sources said here today.
For admission in the class sixth, the students need to be between ten and eleven years of age as on July 1, 2009 where as for admission in the class ninth, the age should be between 13 and 14 years, they said.
The school had also fixed 15 per cent quotas for SC, 7.5 per cent for ST and 25 per cent seats for serving or retired defence personnel, the sources added.
