Ambikapur, October 01, 2011: Chhattisgarh Administration has registered police case against two revenue officials and two others for allegedly involved in fabricating documents to sale government lands in tribal dominated Sarguja district.
As per the instruction of Additional Collector Sarguja A Lakda, FIR under Section 420 of IPC has been registered against Deputy Tehsildar H P Lakshme, Patwari Mikhail Xaxa, alleged seller of the land Maniram Yadav and the alleged purchaser Shashank Kedia, an official release said here today.
As per the information, Deputy Tehsildar Lakshme fabricated documents to prepare a land record of 0.58 hectare land of government land in Kuniya village under Mainpat Tehsil in the name of Yadav.
As per the land record, the size of that land should have been 0.38 hectare where as it was allegedly made 1.384 hectare and sold to Raipur resident Kedia, the release said.
FIR has been lodged against all the four in Kamleswarpur police station, it added.
