Raipur, May 06, 2012: Multi-edition English daily Pioneer was today launched from Raipur.
Senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani launched the paper from Raipur in a function today.
Addressing a select gathering here, Advani praised the role of media in socio-economic development as well as strengthening of democracy in India.
Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh congratulated the team of the newspaper and said Pioneer would meet the expectation of the people.
Raipur Pioneer is a franchisee edition and its publisher is Vijay Budhia, who was earlier running Hindi daily Jansatta from Raipur.
