Raipur, May 08, 2012: Sukma District Collector Alex V F Paul Menon V, who had been kidnapped by the Maoists recently, today met Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh.
During the meeting the Chief Minister inquired about his health condition and development related works of his Sukma district, official sources said.
It was the first meeting of the 2006-batch IAS officer with the Chief Minister ever since he was kidnapped by the Maoists on April 21 from Majhipara village and released on May 3, last at Chintalnar, after the Maoists and the government, through their interlocutors, reached a written agreement at Raipur to review all cases of people currently lodged in various jails of the state.
