Raipur, September 30, 2012: Chhattisgarh Government has declared November 01, 2012 as a holiday on the occasion of the state Foundation day.
All the Government offices and institutions would remain closed on the occasion of the state Foundation day on November 01, an official notification from the General Administration Department said.
However, this order would not be applicable on banks and treasury, it added.
Chhattisgarh was carved out from Madhya Pradesh on November 01, 2000.
