Lakhiram is dead

          Bilaspur, January 24, 2009: One of the senior BJP leaders of the country Lakhiram Agrawal is passed away today after illness.

      Agrawal, born on February 13, 1932, died today evening in a hospital in Bilaspur of Chhattisgarh.

     He was Rajya Sabha member twice and also BJP state President of as many times, who began his political career from Kharsia local body in the current Raigarh district.

      The senior BJP leader has five sons and a daughter and Health and Excise Minister Amar Agrawal is one of them.
