Raipur, December 03, 2012: Chhattisgarh Congress today decided to popularise in the state the ambitious cash subsidy scheme of the Central Government.
The Cash Subsidy Scheme of the Congress-led government at the Centre was discussed in a high level meeting of the state PCC here today and it was decided to popularise the new scheme among the villagers in Chhattisgarh, the State PCC sources said.
At the same time the CPCC meeting also decided to highlight the misutilisation of the Central fund by the state BJP government, the sources said.
Rallies and picketing would also be organised in front of the Tehsil and Block offices to highlight the misutilisation of funds, they said.
The Chhattisgarh Congress also decided to hold a huge rally at Raipur before New Year.
Congress believed Cash subsidy would help them regain their lost political base in Chhattisgarh also as they do not have any popular issue to lure the voters for the 2013 assembly election.
