Korba, April 02, 2013: The Korba power plant of the National Thermal Power Corporation has achieved a cumulative Plant Load Factor of over 90 per cent, NTPC sources said today.
The 2600-MW power station of NTPC Korba unit has achieved a cumulative PLF of 90.11 per cent for the period 2012-13, ending March 31, 2013, NTPC sources said here.
During that period the Korba unit was having an MoU target of 84.14 per cent, the sources said.
The station has generated 20522.925 Million Units of electricity during that period with an availability of 95.11 per cent.
The station has achieved all MoU targets in operation area during the year 2012-13, they said.
It is to be noted here that NTPC Korba has received Meritorious Productivity Award from Government of India 21 times.
