Raipur, January 14, 2014: Senior IAS officer D S Misra was today appointed as the Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation.
Misra has been given as an additional charge the Chairman of the CMDC, officials said.
Misra is currently posted as the Additional Chief Secretary-Financer.
Current Speaker of Chhattisgarh Assembly Gouri Shankar Agrawal was previously holding the post of Chairman of the CMDC.
The 1982 batch IAS Misra is known as an efficient and honest officer.
