Raipur, May 09, 2015: One person died today, who was seriously injured yesterday when the domes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi meeting place was collapsed at Naya Raipur, officials said.
Ramadhar died today at Raipur medical College Hospital, health Department officials said.
Ramadhar was critically injured yesterday when domes collapsed after a storm hit the Naya Raipur area, a day before the visit of the Prime Minister to Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has already ordered a probe into the incident in which 41 people were also injured.
A day ahead of the tour of the Prime Minister, storm badly damaged the meeting place yesterday following which the New Police Headquarters building dedication function at Naya Raipur was cancelled
Meanwhile, PCC President Bhupesh Baghel today demanded FIR against the contractor of the dome construction and also officials for alleged lapse in their duty.
