Raipur, October 31, 2015: Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today congratulated the people on the eve of Chhattisgarh foundation day.
On the State Foundation day, the Chief Minister also called upon the people to work united for making it the most developed state of the country.
Entering of Chhattisgarh into its 16th year is a matter of pride for all as the state was carved out of Madhya Pradesh by then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to address the problem of regional imbalance and the people of the state will always be indebted to Vajpayee for his historic step of creating Chhattisgarh, said Singh.
As the 26th state of the country, Chhattisgarh has achieved several hall marks, he said.
Chhattisgarh was created on November 1, 2000.
