Raipur, February 21, 2016: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone for PM Away Yojana and electronic manufacturing cluster in the capital city of Chhattisgarh at Raipur.
By the year 2022 five crore families should have house in the country, said Modi.
Pressing button, he also laid the foundation stone to construct 40,000 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at Naya Raipur.
In Chhattisgarh also, 27,000 houses would be constructed spread over 26 cities, he said.
In a function at the Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, the prime Minister pressed the button in a function and laid the foundation stones for the new schemes.
Modi also unveiled a statue of Sathya Sai Baba and an auditorium here,
The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for an electronic manufacturing cluster at Naya Raipur in which Rs 2000 crore would be invested. About 4000 people would get job opportunity in that cluster.
