Raipur, April 09, 2016: For investment proposal of Rs 16,000 crore to Chhattisgarh from China, memorandum of understanding was signed today among various stake holders in the presence of Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh at China.
For investment in solar energy, electronics, cement sectors and on the manufacturing of vehicle, security camera and video recording MoU was signed with various parties in the capital city of Guangzhou province at Shenzhen, where a high level delegation led by Chief Minister was on tour.
A whopping 2.4 billion USD investment proposal has been received by Chhattisgarh, which would be in Indian rupee 16,000 crore, a state government release said.
MoU was also signed at Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan province yesterday for investment in Chhattisgarh of Rs 6600 crore by various Chinese companies.
Besides Chief Minister Singh, Chief Secretary Vivek Kumar Dhand, Principal Secretary Housing and Environment Aman Singh and Industry Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh are on a tour of China. Today is the fourth day of their visit.
