Raipur, August 31, 2016: Senior IAS officer of Chhattisgarh Dr Brij Bhushan Lal Tiwari today retired from the government services.
Dr Tiwari was Secretary Public Health Engineering Department at the time of his retirement.
A native of Chhattisgarh, Dr Tiwari has worked in various departments, including Public Relations, Irrigation and PHE Departments among others and has earned a reputation of an efficient officer.
PHE Minister Ram Sewak Paikra today honoured Dr Tiwari with memento and wished him a healthy and active life on his retirement.
Minister Paikra also recalled the works of Dr Tiwari and said as a PHE Secretary he had done tremendous job in the last summer to provide safe drinking water to the people, when Chhattisgarh was reeling under a severe drought condition.
