Raipur, October 01, 2016: Chhattisgarh Government has appointed senior journalist Shashank Sharma as the Director of the Chhattisgarh state Hindi Granth Academy.
Sharma is known as an active journalist and has worked in different news organizations in various capacities.
Sharma replaced another veteran journalist Ramesh Nayyar.
After his appointment, Sharma today met the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh at his residence.
The Chief Minister congratulated him and discussed with him the steps the Academy should take, official sources said.
