Heat wave forces govt to go for summer vacation from Apr 25

     Raipur, April 23, 2009: The heat wave condition in Chhattisgarh has forced the state BJP government to go for early summer vacation from April 25, officials said today.

     “The summer vacation would be for 52 days from April 25 to June 15, due to severe heat wave condition,” a state government order said.

     In fact the summer vacation was earlier scheduled from May 1 to June 15 but after the mercury crossed 45 degrees in some of the places of the state, it was decided to go for an early vacation, state officials told the ChhattisgarhTopNews.com.
