Raipur, February 06, 2023: Budget session of the Chhattisgarh Assembly will begin from March 1, next, top assembly official said today.
The Budget session will start from March 1 and will continue till March 24, Chhattisgarh Assembly Secretary Dinesh Sharma said today.
There will be 14 sittings of the Budget session; he said adding notification for the session was issued today.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who holds the finance portfolio, will present the annual budget for the fiscal 2023-24 during the session.
The state Congress government is also planning to bring in a couple of legislation during the session, official sources said.
The main opposition BJP is also contemplating to demonstrate a better show of strength during the budget session.
