Raipur, February 01, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today praised the interim budget of the Centre presented by the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
This budget will accelerate the economic development of the country and will help in create large scale employment opportunities, Chief Minister Sai said.
This budget will also help in empowerment of the poors, women, youth and farmers, he said.
Due to Lok Sabha election in a couple of months, the Finance Minister today presented the interim budget and a full budget will be moved after the formation of the new government.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a call to make India a fully developed nation by 2047, and this year budget is a step taken in that direction, Chief Minister Sai said.
Praising the Modi government he said because of the policy of the Central Government 25 crore people have been ameliorated from the poverty in the last 10 years.
This budget will also fulfil the guarantees promised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said.
Finance Minister O P Choudhary in his reaction said this budget will function like a foundation to the developed India.
There are several schemes in the budget to help the women, poor and the youth, Choudhary said.
The interim budget has also taken care of the last person of the society and has plans for their economic development, the new Finance Minister of Chhattisgarh said.
