New Delhi, March 12, 2024: In a sudden political development, Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar and his cabinet ministers submitted their resignations today to state Governor Bandaru Dattatreya.
Amidst media reports suggesting irreparable differences among the alliance partner Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) and the BJP, the Khattar Cabinet tendered its resignation, just ahead of the Lok Sabha election.
In the 90 member house BJP has 41 MLAs and BJP claimed they are enjoying the support of independents and others and there is no threat to the government.
BJP is tight-lipped over the reason, why Khattar cabinet resigned.
