Raipur, July 21, 2024: Monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh assembly has been convened from tomorrow and on the first day the ruling BJP will present a supplementary budget, assembly sources said today.
It will be a short session of merely 5 days.
As per the issued notification, the session will start on July 22 and will have sittings on July 22, 23, 24, 25 and July 26, 2024.
Vishnu Dev Sai government is scheduled to bring in a supplementary budget tomorrow and on Tuesday the house will take up the finance bill for discussion.
Some legislations will also be presented during the session, official sources said.
Also there could be resolution to congratulate Narendra Modi on becoming Prime Minister for the third time.
However, opposition wants to raise several issues relating to people, including Maoists, health condition, loan burden on the state, irregularities in NEET and other exams among others.
