Raipur, October 04, 2024: Chhattisgarh Government has decided to celebrate the state foundation day ‘Rajyotsav’ for three days from November 4 to 6, 2024, official sources said today.
It has also been decided to have all functions related to the Rajyotsav at the new capital city place Naya Raipur.
Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain today chaired a review meeting to celebrate the Rajyotsav and issued direction to the senior officials.
It was decided to have the state level Rajyotsav and honour to various people on this occasion at the Mela Ground of Naya Raipur.
Cultural Department Secretary P Anbalgan said the Rajyotsav would be started from November 4 and closing ceremony on November 6, 2024 and the facilitation programme would be organized on the concluding day.
Meanwhile, the General Administration Department has issued order to celebrate the Rajyotsav at the District level on November 05, 2024, only one day.
Chhattisgarh was carved out from Madhya Pradesh on November 1, 2000.
