Dantewada, November 08, 2024: A ‘Youth Hub’ was inaugurated today at the BPO Bhawan in Geedam to providing easy access to education, employment and entrepreneurship development opportunities to the youth of Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh.
The Youth Hub will be a center where the youth of Dantewada can take advantage of higher education, skill-based employment training and entrepreneurship opportunities.
The ‘Youth Hub’ is the first hub to be established in Chhattisgarh under the district’s innovative initiative.
This innovative project is part of a comprehensive youth empowerment initiative run by PPIA Fellows in Dantewada district, which is being operated under a tripartite agreement between the District Administration, Transforming Rural India (TRI) and the Cluster Level Federation (CLF) of the block.
This initiative reflects Dantewada’s commitment to bridge the gap between the dreams and opportunities of the youth while working towards their bright future.
The ‘Youth Hub’ was inaugurated by local MLA Chaitram Atami. District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Jayant Nahta was present on this occasion.
On this occasion, MLA Atami said that it is very important to provide the right resources and support to the youth of Dantewada, so that they can recognize their capabilities and contribute meaningfully to the development of the region. The Youth Hub is being seen as a transformative space that will meet the diverse needs of the young population and also encourage local livelihoods and self-reliance.
This Youth Hub will prove to be an important milestone towards building a strong support system in Dantewada. Which will further strengthen the district’s commitment to inclusive development and rural transformation.
