Raipur, November 26, 2024: Chhattisgarh cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, today decided to withdraw police cases after a detailed review.
On the public interest pure political cases registered during the previous regime has been decided to be withdrawn, official sources said.

The Cabinet today approved 54 such cases to be withdrawn after a detailed discussion, they said.
After the cabinet approval further action will be initiated to withdraw 54 cases from various courts, the sources said.
BJP had been criticizing the previous Congress government of harassing people and political workers by registering false cases against them.
