Raipur, November 26, 2024: Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao has launched the new departmental portal of Urban Administration and Development Department www.cguadfinance.in in a programme organized at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Stadium in Mungeli district headquarters.
While launching the portal, Sao said the new portal will facilitate in making the works of urban administration and development more transparent, effective and quick monitoring of construction works and review of their progress.

This portal is a big step towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Digital India’ and the vision of developed India by 2047, he said adding with this the department will move rapidly towards paperless administration and digital empowerment.
This portal has been developed by the department especially for the review and monitoring of important schemes and works run in urban bodies.
This portal will make the monitoring of works of the bodies simple and effective. Through this it will be ensured that the full benefit of the schemes reaches the citizens.
This portal expands the scope of Digital India and connects the department with modern working system. The use of this portal will not only increase the efficiency of the department, but will also enable quick monitoring of works.
During the launch of the portal, public representatives, dignitaries and local citizens including Mungeli Collector Rahul Dev and Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel were present in large numbers.
The portal will help in these works: According to the press note issued by the state government, the newly launched portal of the Urban Administration and Development Department www.cguadfinance.in will make the departmental processes digital and paperless, which will save resources and time.
This will make the functioning of the department and urban bodies more transparent and effective.
Through this portal, the monitoring of the progress of the works approved under the infrastructure item and the 15th Finance Commission and the review of the amount released to the bodies will be done. This will help in completing the works within the time limit, which will benefit the residents of the urban local bodies.
Along with the review of the schemes run by the department, the portal will provide information about the income-expenditure of the local bodies, the status of recovery of property tax and other taxes.
Through this, tracking of the judicial cases of the department and the progress of their resolution will also be done.
