Balod, January 08, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today said the state BJP government is committed to providing good governance to the last person of the society.

Chief Minister Sai, addressing the inauguration-foundation stone laying programme of development works worth Rs 141 crore organized in village Jugera of Balod district, said this year full focus is being given on quality development work as they have declared the year 2025 as Atal Nirman Year in the memory of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
With the basic mantra of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas-Sabka Prayas and Sabka Vishwas, it is the responsibility of every citizen to constantly monitor the development and construction works of their areas and contribute to building a developed Chhattisgarh state, he said.
What has been called Ram-Rajya in Indian ancient texts is good governance, Sai said adding the sunrise of good governance has taken place here and all this has been possible with the love of the people and immense public support.
“We are confident that your trust will remain unwavering. All will work together to make Chhattisgarh a developed state,” Sai said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted that no one in the country should sleep under the open sky. Every citizen will have a permanent house. More than 31 thousand families have benefited in Balod district under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for building houses with permanent roofs. More than half of these houses have been built. The rest are being constructed, He said and congratulated the beneficiaries who have entered the new houses.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of various development works worth Rs 141 crore in a programme organized in village Jugera of Balod district. On this occasion, he also announced the construction of a 400-seater auditorium in Balod and the construction of a dome set to expand the facilities of visitors at the Banjari Mata Temple in Jugera.
The Chief Minister said for construction of a Nalanda campus in Balod has been approved and the construction works will start soon.
He also praised Veena Sahu, a resident of Jamruva village of Balod, who is serving as a Lieutenant Nursing Officer in the Indian Army, and wished her a bright future.
