Raipur, March 6, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today issued orders to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) to 53 per cent for the state government employees.

As a Holi gift to lakh of state government employees the state government today issued the order for 53 per cent DA to its employees, official sources said.
Finance Minister O P Choudhary had on March 3 announced 53 per cent DA to government employees in the annual budget of the year 2025-26 in the Assembly.
In compliance with the said announcement, the order to increase the dearness allowance of government servants has been issued by the Finance Department, official sources said.
The dearness allowance of the employees working in the seventh pay scale has been increased by 3 per cent. Now they will get 53 per cent DA, while the dearness allowance of the employees of the sixth pay scale has been increased by 7 per cent, now they will get 246 per cent dearness allowance.
This increase will be effective from March 1, 2025 and it will be paid in the month of April along with the salary of March 2025, the sources added.
