Raipur, May 08, 2026: Chhattisgarh government today appointed Roktima Yadav as the new Collector of District Korea, thereby modifying an order issued on May 6, under which Pushpa Sahu had originally been posted as the Collector of Korea District.
These new appointments have been issued without citing any specific reason for the reshuffle in the portfolios of these Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
Under this order, Pushpa Sahu, a 2012-batch IAS officer, has been appointed to the post of Secretary, Board of Secondary Education.
It is noteworthy that while the order issued on May 6, 2026, had initially posted Pushpa Sahu as the Collector of District Korea, a partial modification to that order has now assigned her to the position of Secretary, Board of Secondary Education.

Roktima Yadav, a 2016-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new Collector of District Korea. The order issued on May 6, 2026, had originally posted Yadav as the Commissioner of Higher Education; however, a partial modification to that order has now posted her as the Collector of District Korea.
Rita Yadav, a 2019-batch IAS officer, has been posted as the Commissioner of Higher Education. Additionally, she has been entrusted with the additional charge of Managing Director, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA). Upon her assumption of charge, this post shall be deemed equivalent to a cadre post in the Senior Time Scale.
