Raipur, April 10, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today extended warm wishes and greetings to all the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir Swami, the 24th Tirthankar of Jainism.
The Chief Minister said that the message of great values like truth, non-violence, compassion and non-possession given by Lord Mahavir through his life is very relevant for today’s social and moral life.

Bhagwan Mahavir described non-violence as the highest religion and made kindness and love the basis of life. He showed the path of harmony, co-existence and peace. His teachings are not only the basis of religious faith, but they are an inspiration giving a new direction to humanity, Sai said.
The Chief Minister urged the people of the state to imbibe the teachings of Lord Mahavir in their lives and always be ready to help the poor, the needy and the weaker sections of the society.
