     Raipur, May 26, 2025: Chhattisgarh is going to take a big step in the digital landscape of the country. Technology company ESDS Software Solution Ltd has presented a proposal of investment of more than Rs 600 crore to Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai to set up a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence based data center in Raipur.

     During a meeting with the Chief Minister at Chhattisgarh Sadan in New Delhi, the company’s Chairman Piyush Somani and Vice-President Lokesh Sharma said that this center will accelerate the digital future of not only Chhattisgarh but the whole of India.

     Through this proposal, concrete steps will be taken towards making Chhattisgarh a leading state in the field of AI, cloud technology, cyber security and digital storage.

     Welcoming the proposal, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said, “This investment will prove to be a milestone in bringing the spirit of Digital India to the ground in Chhattisgarh. The government will provide all possible assistance so that this project takes shape as soon as possible.”

     This initiative of ESDS will make Chhattisgarh a technology hub as well as create new opportunities for high-level employment for the youth. This center will strengthen the IT ecosystem of the state and will be a big step towards digital self-reliance.

     On this occasion, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh and Investment Commissioner of Chhattisgarh in New Delhi Ritu Sein were also present.
