Raipur, June 30, 2025: Taking a major decision in the interest of farmers, Chhattisgarh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, today decided to amend the state Krishak Unnati Yojana and expand the scope of the input subsidy scheme.
The state government said that the Cabinet has taken a major decision today in the interest of farmers. Under this, the prevailing rules of the Krishak Unnati Yojana have been amended and its scope has been further expanded. Under this scheme farmers are getting Rs 3100 per quintal of paddy.
Now the benefit of this scheme will be available to paddy producing farmers in Kharif 2025 as well as farmers who grow pulses, oilseeds, maize etc. instead of registered paddy crop.

According to the decision, if the registered farmers in Kharif 2024, who had paddy crop and sold at the support price, cultivate pulses, oilseeds, maize etc. crops instead of paddy in Kharif 2025, then they will also be provided input assistance under the Krishak Unnati Yojana.
Earlier, on April 30, 2025, the Cabinet had decided to give the benefit of Krishak Unnati Yojana to the farmers cultivating on lease, and other forms like Regha, Batai, and Dubhan area.
Vishnu Dev Government, while amending the guidelines of the Krishi Unnati Yojana, had decided to give the benefit of input assistance to all such farmers of the state from whom paddy/ paddy seeds have been procured in the Kharif season through cooperative society and Chhattisgarh State Seed and Farmers Development Corporation Limited.
