Raipur, July 18, 2025: Enforcement Directorate (ED) sleuths “raided” the residence of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel this morning at Bhilai in Durg district.
Baghel himself stated in X that the ED has been sent to his Bhilai residence by the “Saheb”.
On the concluding day of the Chhattisgarh Assembly ED has arrived, he said.
Baghel and his close confidents have been facing several charges of corruptions in the last couple of years and some of his close people have also been arrested.

It was not clear for which case ED has reached the house of Baghel, where his family lives.
On March 10, 2025 also ED had raided the Bhilai Residence of Baghel for alleged involvement of his son in certain scams.
For alleged involvement in liquor scam former Excise Minister of Bhupesh Baghel government and 6-time Congress MLA Kawasi Lakhma and many top people of Baghel government are currently in Raipur Central Jail.
