     Raipur, August 07, 2025: Chhattisgarh Samvad and State Public Relations Department have become a role model in the country in the field of information dissemination.

     A high-level study team from Maharashtra has state appreciated the innovations being done by the Chhattisgarh government in the field of information and public relations and showed keen interest in implementing them in their state as well.

     On this occasion, the high-level study team met and discussed with Commissioner of Chhattisgarh Public Relations Department Dr. Ravi Mittal.

     It has been the constant endeavor of the Chhattisgarh Public Relations Department that information about government schemes and public welfare policies should reach the general public in a quick, transparent and effective manner, Commissioner Dr. Mittal told the delegation.

     The balanced inclusion of technology and human approach in the field of information has made our methodology unique. It is a matter of pleasure for us that other states are also taking interest in our innovations. This experience-sharing is a step taken in a positive and constructive direction, he said.

      The six-member study team of senior officials, including Deputy Secretary Samridhi Angolkar and Director Kishore Gangarde, of the Public Relations and Information Department of the Maharashtra Government was on a three-day visit to Chhattisgarh from August 5.

     The objective of this visit was to directly observe and study the latest innovations and effective working methods being done by the Chhattisgarh Government in the field of information, public relations and promotion of government schemes.

     The team studied the entire functioning of the Public Relations Department of the Chhattisgarh Government and its subsidiary institution Chhattisgarh Samvad.

     During the visit, the officials did an in-depth study of e-news clipping, e-RO system, e-publication, journalist accreditation system, and schemes run for the welfare of journalists.

     Along with this, they also studied details of the organizational structure, operational mechanism and various aspects of technical innovations of Chhattisgarh Samvad.

     The study team visited the Directorate of Public Relations and Chhattisgarh Samvad office and closely observed the operation of various branches and understood the major activities of the department.

     Additional Directors Jawahar Lal Dario, Umesh Mishra and Sanjeev Tiwari provided detailed information to the study team about the main activities, working methods and technical applications of the department.

     The members of the study team from Maharashtra appreciated the innovations being done by the Chhattisgarh government in the field of information and public relations and expressed keen interest in the possibilities of implementing them in their state as well.

     Various officers of the Public Relations Department and Chhattisgarh Samvad were present on this occasion.
