Raipur, August 25, 2025: During the visit of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai to Japan, the state won the trust of investors due to its investment-friendly ecosystem at the prestigious Osaka Invest Connect programme and many big companies have shown keen interest in investing in the state.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the prestigious Investor Connect programme organized in Osaka during his Japan visit, said that Chhattisgarh is a strong confluence of natural resources, talented manpower and industry-friendly policies.

He underlined that India and Japan are connected by a deep bond of trust and shared values. The Chief Minister called upon the Japanese partners to become partners in the development journey of Chhattisgarh moving forward with innovation, opportunity and shared prosperity.
During the programme, the Chief Minister gave an investment proposal of $ 11.45 million (₹ 100 crore) to Sartaj Foods, Osaka to set up a food processing unit in Chhattisgarh. This project will give new heights to the food processing sector of the state, generate employment on a large scale and provide new opportunities to the farmers.
The Chief Minister said that this initiative will further strengthen the agriculture-based economy of Chhattisgarh.
Under the Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings, Chief Minister Sai also met Naoyuki Shimada, President and Representative Director of Morabu Hanshin Company. This company is a leader in the field of skilled engineers, system development and workforce solutions.

The possibilities of cooperation in the field of skill training and workforce exchange were discussed in detail in the meeting. The Chief Minister said that this will pave the way for global opportunities for the youth of Chhattisgarh and the skill system of the state will become stronger.
On this occasion, Chhattisgarh officials presented the competitive features of the state in details. They said that abundant mineral wealth, active single-window clearance system, world-class industrial infrastructure and providing a comfortable environment to global investors are the biggest strengths of Chhattisgarh.
The reforms being done in the state and the incentive schemes for investors were appreciated by the Japanese representatives. Companies interested in investing especially in the field of food processing, technology and advanced workforce solutions described Chhattisgarh as a state of suitable opportunities.
Chief Minister Sai said, “Chhattisgarh is committed to providing an investment-friendly ecosystem where global partners get both opportunities and collaboration. Our partnership with Japan is based on trust and shared values. The discussions held in Osaka will not only bring investments but also empower our farmers, generate employment for the youth and further strengthen the foundation of a developed Chhattisgarh.”
