Raipur, June 22, 2026: A decision was taken today by the Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (CSIDC) regarding the establishing a Gems and Jewellery Park in the capital, Raipur.
During the 161st Board of Directors meeting of the CSIDC today at Udyog Bhawan in Raipur under the chairmanship of Rajiv Agrawal, who holds the rank of Cabinet Minister, key issues related to the state’s industrial development were discussed in details.
A decision was specifically taken regarding the next steps for establishing the Gems and Jewellery Park in Devendra Nagar (Pandri), Raipur.
Additionally, discussions were held on attracting investment for Textile Parks and Readymade Garment Parks in the state and expediting the associated processes.
Officials present at the meeting included Secretary Commerce and Industries Department Rajat Kumar, CSIDC Managing Director Vishesh Kumar, Director Industries Prabhat Malik, Joint Secretary Finance Shraddha Trivedi, Additional Director Town and Country Planning Sandeep Bagde, among others.
