A Bengaluru-bound private bus from Hyderabad caught fire in Kurnool district earlier today after colliding with a two-wheeler, leaving 12 people dead, media reports said.
The motorcycle collided with the bus near Chinnatekur in Kurnool and got dragged underneath with its fuel cap open, triggering the blaze, reports said adding that the toll may increase.
Among the killed are 11 passengers and a biker, quoting police the reports said
It is stated that there were 41 passengers, including the driver of the bus, travelling in the bus the reports said the bus door got jammed due to a short circuit after the incident and the vehicle was completely gutted.
