Raipur, November 23, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated the ambitious housing projects of Chhattisgarh Housing Board worth Rs 2,060 crore at the three-day state-level Housing Fair in Raipur.
These 55 housing projects will be launched in 26 districts of the state, through which more than 12,000 affordable and quality homes will be built.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also launched the Housing Board’s AI chat bot and portal. Through this, consumers will be able to easily access information about the Housing Board’s projects.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Housing and Environment Minister OP Choudhary, Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma and Housing Board Chairman Anurag Singhdeo were present on this occasion.

Chief Minister Sai said that the Chhattisgarh Housing Board is moving forward with innovation to provide affordable and quality homes to the people of the state. The Chhattisgarh government has cleared the Housing Board’s debt of ₹790 crore, making it debt-free so that the Board can operate with a better strategy.
Referring to the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, Sai said it was being implemented not only in Chhattisgarh but across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide permanent houses to the needy and homeless.

In two years, 26 lakh houses have been approved for the people under this scheme in Chhattisgarh, the Chief Minister said.
Sai informed that under the PM Janman Yojana, 32,000 houses have been approved for Special Backward Tribes and 15,000 houses for surrendered Naxalites and Naxal-affected families in Bastar.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister presented housing booking certificates, house keys, and freehold house certificates to Housing Board customers at the state-level housing fair.

Housing and Environment Minister OP Choudhary said that within a year, the Housing Board has done business worth ₹672 crore. The government has provided relief to the Housing Board and consumers by granting land diversion and freehold concessions.
Chaudhary said that the Housing Board will begin construction of housing projects based on consumer demand.

Housing Board Chairman Anurag Singhdeo also addressed the event. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sai, the Housing Board will construct houses in all districts of the state. In the next phase, it will also launch housing projects in all assembly constituencies of the state.
