New Collector Devesh Kumar Dhruv assumes charge in Dantewada

IAS Devesh Kumar Dhruv today assumed charges as the new District Collector of Dantewada in Chhattisgarh.

     Dantewada, December 18, 2025: IAS Devesh Kumar Dhruv today assumed charges as the new District Collector of Dantewada in Chhattisgarh.

     A 2018 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service, Dhruv previously served as Assistant Collector in Bilaspur district. He then served as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Balodabazar-Bhatapara and Bijapur districts.

     He has also served as CEO of the District Panchayat in Narayanpur district. Following this, he was posted as Commissioner of Bhilai Municipal Corporation. He was then appointed as Collector of Sukma district.

     After assuming charge, Collector Dhruv held an introductory meeting with all the heads of departments of the district. He emphasized that the implementation of government welfare schemes and achieving the given targets should be prioritized, and that he expects them to diligently discharge their responsibilities and duties.

     On this occasion, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Jayant Nahata, Additional Collector Rajesh Patre, and other departmental officers were present.
