Raipur, January 29, 2026: The Budget session of the Chhattisgarh Assembly will start from February 23 and will continue till March 20.
A notification for the Budget session was issued today, Assembly sources said.
As per the notification, the Budget session will be started from February 23 and will continue till March 20, 2026.
The Budget session will have a total of 15 sittings during the Budget session, Assembly sources said.
The session will be started with the customary address by the Governor on the inaugural day.
Finance Minister Om Prakash Choudhary will present his annual budget for the financial year 2026-2027 and after a detailed discussion that will be passed in the session.
The Vishnu Dev Sai Government is also contemplating tabling a couple of legislative bills during the session, official sources said.
