Goa’s Sports Minister Tawadkar Discusses with Chief Minister Sai

     Raipur, March 26, 2026: Ramesh Tawadkar, Goa’s Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs, and Tribal Welfare, today discussed with the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at the Chief Minister House on several issues.

     Official sources stated that Chief Minister Sai held discussions with Tawadkar on various issues related to tribal welfare and the development of sports.

     Extending a warm welcome to Tawadkar during his visit to Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Sai also presented him with a memento symbolizing Bastar art and a selection of local products from Jashpur.

     The Chief Minister remarked that the Chhattisgarh government is continuously striving to promote sports, and by developing modern sports infrastructure within the state, it is providing talented athletes with opportunities to excel.

     He also noted that hosting the country’s inaugural ‘Khelo India Tribal Games’ in Chhattisgarh is a matter of great pride for the state.

     This event will not only provide a national platform for tribal talent but will also elevate their cultural identity and self-confidence to new heights, Sai said.

     It is noteworthy that a delegation from the Goa government, led by Ramesh Tawadkar, is currently visiting Chhattisgarh to participate in the ‘Khelo India Tribal Games.’

     In addition to participating in the sporting event, the delegation will also visit various sites associated with the state’s rich tribal culture and heritage, including the Chhattisgarh Muktangan and the Tribal Museum.
