Raipur, May 19, 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today extended a warm welcome and cordial reception to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath upon his arrival in Chhattisgarh to attend the 26th meeting of the Central Zonal Council, being held in Bastar.
Chief Minister Sai honoured him in accordance with Chhattisgarh’s traditional culture by presenting him with a ceremonial state Gamcha (towel).
On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held detailed deliberations on various contemporary issues, mutual coordination between the states, and matters related to regional development.
The meeting also featured discussions on good governance, the effective implementation of development schemes, and issues concerning the public interest.
Notably, the 26th meeting of the Central Zonal Council is being organized today in Bastar under the chairmanship of Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Amit Shah.
Comprehensive discussions regarding coordination between various states, development, and administrative matters are set to take place during this significant meeting.
