     New Delhi, June 25, 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today met Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilizers Jagat Prakash Nadda at his residence here and held a detailed and productive discussion on various issues, including public health, medical infrastructure, and the pharmaceutical and fertiliser sectors.

     Chief Minister Sai apprised Union Minister Nadda that the state government is continuously working towards expanding and strengthening health services.

     Hospitals, medical colleges, and other medical institutions are being bolstered, particularly to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare facilities to remote, rural, and tribal areas, Sai said.

     He stated that the state government aims to ensure that citizens of the state have access to superior medical treatment and modern healthcare facilities within the state itself.

     During the meeting, the Chief Minister also discussed matters related to the agriculture and fertilizer sectors.

     He informed the Union Minister that clear instructions have been issued to ensure the adequate and timely availability of fertilizers and seeds to farmers across the state. The government is ensuring that farmers do not face any difficulties and that the supply of essential agricultural inputs remains seamless during the Kharif season.

      Sai mentioned that officials have been instructed to maintain constant vigilance over the fertilizer distribution system and to adopt a zero-tolerance policy towards black marketing, hoarding, or negligence. Additionally, directives have been issued to launch village-level campaigns to connect farmers with modern agricultural techniques and encourage them to adopt new technologies.

     He also informed the Union Minister that the state government is promoting the use of Nano Urea and Nano DAP. Extensive awareness campaigns are being conducted to educate farmers about the benefits of these products, aiming to boost agricultural productivity, reduce costs, and make farming more profitable.

     The Chief Minister stated that the Chhattisgarh government, with the full cooperation of the Government of India, is continuously striving to accelerate development in the sectors of health, agriculture, and public welfare. Better coordination between the Centre and the State is being further strengthened for the overall development of the State.

     Union Minister Nadda appreciated the expansion of health services in Chhattisgarh, the measures being taken in the interest of farmers, and the efforts being made for public welfare.

    Nadda assured all possible support from the Central Government in the health sector and other areas of development.
