Bhubaneswar, September 21, 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, accompanied by his wife Kaushalya Devi, offered prayers and sought blessings from Lord Jagannath in Puri today, marking the second day of his visit to Odisha.
After offering prayers to Lord Jagannath, Chief Minister Sai prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Chhattisgarh.
Later in the day, the Chief Minister met with the Governor of Odisha Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, at Lok Bhawan in Bhubaneswar.
Official sources stated that the meeting involved a meaningful discussion regarding the shared social and cultural heritage of Odisha and Chhattisgarh, development across various sectors, and mutual cooperation.
Deliberations also took place on further strengthening the relationship between the two states and exploring new avenues for collaboration.
During his visit to Odisha, Chief Minister Sai also paid a courtesy call on the former Governor of Chhattisgarh Biswabhusan Harichandan, at his residence in Bhubaneswar today.
On this occasion, Sai engaged in a cordial conversation with Harichandan and inquired about his well-being.
