A N Upadhyaya new Home Secretary

     Raipur, June 7, 2009: Senior IPS officer A N Upadhyaya has been posted as the new Secretary Home, officials said today.

     The General Administration Department has yesterday issued the order for the appointment of Upadhyaya as the new Home Secretary.

      Upadhyaya is currently functioning as the Inspector General of Police of Bastar Range.

     After Ashok Kumar Juneja is posted as the new Resident Commissioner in place of Niharika Barik, one post of Home Secretary was laying vacant in the state Government. Barik is posted as the District Collector Mahasamund.
