Raipur, December 24, 2008: The new Agriculture and Labour Minister Chandrasekhar Sahu today directed his officials to prepare action plan for the development of the Agriculture sector in Chhattisgarh.
After taking over charges as the Minister Sahu said today action plan would be prepared on agriculture sector to implement election promises made by the BJP.
Every step would also be taken to improve the farm sector and also the condition of the farmers as over 80 per cent of the population of the state is dependent on this sector, he said.
Not only action plan would be prepared but also the development of agriculture and farmers would be his top most priority, the new Minister said.
