Raipur, July 02, 2025: Chhattisgarh has received good amount of rainfall in all the districts of the state so far this monsoon.
According to the data received from the state government, Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 176.3 mm since June 1.
The highest rainfall of 345.6 mm has been recorded in Balrampur district located in the north of the state. While the lowest rainfall of 69.7 mm has been recorded in Bemetara district of Central Chhattisgarh.
The Revenue and Disaster Management Department of Chhattisgarh has also established a state level flood control room in view of the monsoon.
According to the information received by the state level flood control room, Raipur district received 125.5 mm, Balodabazar 163.0 mm, Gariaband 157.4 mm, Mahasamund 133.5 mm and Dhamtari 132.4 mm average rainfall has been recorded.
Average rainfall of 105.8 mm in Bilaspur, 114.1 mm in Mungeli, 248.4 mm in Raigarh, 146.6 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 201.9 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 139.9 mm in Sakti, 169.2 mm in Korba and 155.6 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi have been recorded.
Sarguja district has received an average rainfall of 155.1 mm, 220.5 mm in Surajpur, 324.2 mm in Jashpur, 235.8 mm in Korea and 146.2 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Average rainfall of 105.5 mm has been recorded in Durg district, 87.3 mm in Kawardha, 81.0 mm in Rajnandgaon, 231.2 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, 103.9 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 143.4 mm in Balod.
Similarly average rainfall of 295.7 mm has been registered in Bastar district, 180.9 mm in Kondagaon, 218.6 mm in Kanker, 179.6 mm in Narayanpur, 256.7 mm in Dantewada, 124.1 mm in Sukma and 320.4 mm in Bijapur.
